To document and disseminate the outcomes of the conference, the organiser will conduct photography, videography, and audio recording during the 2026 Asia-Pacific Regional Conference on Population Ageing (October 27–30, 2026, Hangzhou, China).
1. Consent and authorisation
By registering for and attending this conference, you agree to and hereby grant the conference organiser and its designees a non-exclusive, worldwide, and perpetual license to use materials containing your likeness, image, voice, and/or statements for educational, promotional, archival, and publicity purposes. This use includes, but is not limited to, reproducing, editing, displaying, and distributing such materials on the organizer's websites, social media platforms, publications, news reports, promotional materials for future conferences, and in public archives.
2. Ownership and compensation
All copyrights to the audio-visual materials produced during the conference are owned by the conference organiser. You understand and agree that you grant this license on a royalty-free basis and will not receive any remuneration or financial compensation.
3. Personal rights declaration
You confirm that you have the full right to grant this authorisation. You hereby release the organiser from any and all claims and liabilities arising from or related to the use of the aforementioned audio-visual materials.
4. Special reminders and opt-out mechanism
- On-site signage
Prominent notices will be displayed at major entrances to the Conference venue, indicating that photography, videography, and audio recording are in progress.
- Right to opt-out
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, or have other concerns, please inform the staff on-site. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid recording you or, where feasible, remove specific collected images upon request.
- Complete agreement
This statement constitutes the complete agreement between you and the conference organiser regarding this matter. We commit that all use of audio-visual materials will adhere to the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity, and will respect participants' reasonable expectations of privacy.
